Getting here and staying safe
The farm sits in a cocoa orchard by the reservoir, not in town. So here is plainly how we look after people, and what we are still putting in place before the first guests arrive.
What already happens every time people come
- A neighbour picks you up in Si KhioYou never have to find the farm track yourself; the driver lives here and knows the road.
- Orchard work happens in the cool of the morningYou do what you can and stop when you want. Nobody counts.
- Sharp tools stay in farm handsGuests pick, split and ferment. Cutting blades and anything off the ground is farm work.
- Tell us about food allergies when you bookThe village kitchen cooks yours separately, and we ask again on the day you arrive.
- Nobody goes into the reservoir aloneWater trips go with farm staff, and not when the water is high or the rain is heavy.
- Someone from the farm sleeps here every nightNo guest is ever alone on the farm overnight.

- Guidance for children and older guestsWhich paths suit them, which jobs they can join, and shade along the way.
- Food hygiene training for the village kitchens we work withPlus one shared routine for storing ingredients and washing hands.
